TOFU COOKING & RECIPES
Tofu is a delicate, taste-neutral food.
Tofu marinates very well, absorbing flavors of all curries, masalas it is used in. The softer the tofu, the better the marination. The firmer the tofu, the easier the easier the tossing.
BREAKFAST IDEAS
1. Tofu sabzi (use Premium Tofu or Vacuum packed Tofu) – matar tofu, palak tofu, tofu masala, tofu chilli, etc. a gravy with peas or palak. Replace paneer with tofu in matar paneer, palak paneer, etc. as per normal recipe.
2. Tofu Bhurji/”Akuri”/Scrambled tofu (use any of the 3 Tofu variants) – Replace egg with tofu as per normal recipe. Grate the tofu.
3. Tofu pizzas – (Use any of the 3 tofu varantsi) Grate the tofu into the Mozzarella in a 50-50 ratio. Bake. The Tofu will form a lovely crust absorbing the flavor of the Mozarella.

QUICK SNACKS FOR KIDS! Or STARTERS WITH DRINKS
1.Tofu sandwiches/burgers (use Herbal tofu) – a slice of herbal tofu and make sandwich with tomato, cucumber, salt,pepper, etc.
2. Sautéed Tofu (Premium water tofu is softer) – Either marinate before saute’ing. Or add a pinch of chaat masala after sautéing.
a. Dice, (preferably marinate in any sauce/spice –ginger, garlic , soya, etc), sauté (lightly fry) and serve.
3. Sautéed Herbal Tofu – no marination or flavoring necessary.
4. Tofu pakodas (use vacuum packed tofu) – Coat the tofu with a batter. Deep fry in hot oil
5. Tofu rolls/kathis (use vacuum packed tofu)
QUICK SNACKS FOR KIDS! Or STARTERS WITH DRINKS
1. Tofu soups (Use the softer Premium Tofu water pack)
2. Dice and serve, Either after marinating and sautéing or just as is. (Use the softer Premium Tofu water pack)
3. Tofu salad (Use the softer Premium Tofu water pack or the Herbal tofu)– dice herbal tofu with your greens and reds. It provides the protein to a high fibre salad.
4. Tofu Steaks – Marinate the Regular Tofu (vacuum pack) with herbs and sauces for an 1 hour. Then grill the tofu on both sides. Serve with veggies and potatoes.
